Dark Matters film and virtual production studios to take part in SATIS on 16 November 2023.
Romain Cheminade, co-founder of Dark Matters Studios (DMS), a studio complex for filming and virtual production, will be present at SATIS, the trade fair dedicated to creation and technological innovation in media, entertainment and audiovisual communication, on Thursday 16 November.
Two highlights in Dark Matters’ programme for the event.
At the forefront of innovation in the field of virtual production, and as such a winner of France 2030, la Grande Fabrique de l’Image, Dark Matters will be hosting a demonstration of its technologies as part of the Big Shoot XR, a unique Virtual Production demo area set up for the first time by the SATIS organisers. The case study is based on Handicap International’s latest campaign.
The round-table discussion on « The future of film sets between modernity and eco-responsibility » will enable Romain Cheminade to present the technological facilities and top-of-the-range services offered by DMS and its ability to propose Research & Development and innovation solutions that integrate societal and environmental dimensions to make Dark Matters a low-impact, responsible and sustainable studio.
Founded in 2021, Dark Matters is proud to have hosted the filming of Dogman by director Luc Besson, the Handicap International and Paco Rabanne – Parfum Phantom advertising campaigns, the « Modern Jam » video clip by Travis Scott and the Terminal series co-directed and produced by Jamel Debbouze.
