With three locations to film - from the Khmer Rouge in Cambodia to the Rwandan genocide, and from the tsunami in Southeast Asia to the earthquake in Haiti and the war in Syria, the production team chose to shoot the film using the latest ground-breaking production technologies.
Dark Matters, specialist in Realtime Virtual Production and located at their 15,000m2 (162,000 sqft) studios South of Paris, is one of the awarded projects of the France 2030 - "La Grande fabrique de l'image" plan. Supported by the French Government, the CNC et la Caisse des Dépôts et Consignations, 68 projects in training, film studios and post-production, out of 175 submitted, were selected in France for a financial support of 350 millions of euros.
